Iran, Ghana sign document on air transport cooperation
TEHRAN - Iran and Ghana have signed a document on cooperation in the field of air transportation.
The signing of the mentioned document comes as the two countries previously agreed upon launching direct flights between Tehran and Accra.
The signing ceremony was held in Tehran, IRNA reported.
According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA), permission has already been granted for this cooperation after approval by the Iranian cabinet members.
Following the legal procedure and the coordination with the Iranian Foreign Ministry, a high-ranking delegation from Ghana arrived in Tehran.
Subsequently, the ICAA drafted a mutual agreement on air transport between Iran and Ghana, establishing a legal framework for the launch of flights.
