Iran ready to provide vocational training for Omani workforce
TEHRAN – Iran is ready to provide technical and vocational training for 1,000 Omani workers, the head of Iran’s Technical and Vocational Training Organization said.
Speaking in a meeting with Oman’s minister of labor and social affairs in Tehran, Mehrdad Azimi said the country has the capacity to run vocational training courses for 1,000 Omani labor forces, Mehr News Agency reported.
Azimi noted that Iran is also prepared to dispatch technical and vocational instructors to Oman.
More than 4.5 million people have taken part in the public and private centers of Iran to receive technical and vocational training, he added.
Presently, trainees from seven African countries are taking training courses in Iran, Azimi said.
In August 2022, Iran unveiled plans for a new chapter in technical and vocational interaction with Tajikistan and launched joint educational programs with the Central Asian state.
