TEHRAN – Saipa defeated Mehrsun in straight sets (25-18, 25-9, 25-20) to win 2023/24 Iranian Women's Volleyball League on Tuesday.

Saipa won the title after beating Mehrsun in best of three, in which they won the title 2-1.

The Tehran-based volleyball club had previously won the title in 2020/21 season.

Zob Ahan are the most decorated Iranian team six times out of 23 editions.

The Iranian Women's Volleyball Premier League is the highest level of professional women's volleyball league in Iran.

The highest level of women’s club league in Iran was founded in 1975. In 2001 the league system was revamped and the Iranian Women's Volleyball Premier League was established.
