Iranian people support authorities and armed forces: IRGC commander
TEHRAN- Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, asserts strong public support for the country's leadership and the Armed Forces.
General Hajizadeh said there is widespread Iranian backing for the authorities and the Iranian Armed Forces.
He then criticized the U.S. moves in West Asia, stating that it had "wasted several trillion dollars" in the region.
He specifically denounced the U.S. for funding the ISIS terrorist group and supporting the Israeli regime, which had killed "nearly 30,000 people."
General Hajizadeh further argued that the U.S. government is "on an irreversible path," and urged Western citizens to question their leaders' spending and its implications.
Finally, he reiterated Iran's stance of opposing war while claiming the country is maximally prepared and ready.
