Iran FM meets Hezbollah Leader, Palestinian groups in Beirut

TEHRAN - The Iranian foreign minister met with Lebanese Hezbollah leader Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and leaders of Palestinian resistance groups during a visit to Beirut, discussing the Gaza conflict, the Palestine issue, and regional developments.

Nasrallah praises Iran's support, highlights resistance strength

Nasrallah expressed gratitude for Iran's support for the Palestinians, and emphasized the strength and cooperation of resistance groups in Gaza. 

He asserted that Israel faces a strategic impasse and has not achieved its objectives. 

Calling resistance a key factor in regional dynamics, he expressed confidence in a Palestinian victory.

Amir Abdollahian emphasizes political solution

Hossein Amir Abdollahian outlined Iran's efforts to support Palestine and reiterated the importance of a political solution based on Palestinian rights in international forums. 

He stressed that resistance achievements should be incorporated into future initiatives, with the Palestinian people and leadership at the forefront.

Meetings with Palestinian leaders focus on unity

Amir Abdollahian also met with the leaders of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. They discussed the situation in Gaza, highlighting resistance successes and emphasizing the growing pressure on Israel. 

The Palestinian leaders praised Iran's support and called for Palestinian unity in managing the conflict, political landscape, and post-conflict recovery.

Amir Abdollahian calls for end to Israeli attacks

The Iranian minister commended resistance victories and emphasized the Al Aqsa Storm operation's success in solidifying Palestine as a core issue for the Islamic world. 

He urged an immediate halt to Israeli attacks, reiterated the importance of Palestinian unity in managing political initiatives, and stressed the need for humanitarian aid and prisoner exchanges. 

He emphasized Palestinian self-determination and criticized external actors imposing their agenda.

Abdollahian denounced U.S. and UK attacks on Yemen as violations of sovereignty and provocative actions aligned with Israel. 

He thanked Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati for supporting Palestine and discussed the complex regional situation, stressing the importance of peace and stability. 

Mikati called for immediate cease fire in Gaza, saying, "We are seeking peace and stability in the region."

They also touched on the Lebanese-Israeli border situation and bilateral relations, including economic matters.
