"Terror" is a legal thriller written by Ferdinand von Schirach. The novel follows the trial of a German Air Force officer who decides to shoot down a hijacked plane before it can crash into a stadium full of people.
The officer's actions save the lives of thousands, but he is then put on trial for murder as he had exceeded his authority.
The novel explores themes of morality, justice, and the complexities of making decisions in extreme circumstances.
Through the courtroom drama, von Schirach delves into the ethical implications of the officer's actions and raises questions about the nature of terrorism and the limits of government power.
The story challenges readers to consider difficult moral questions and leaves them wondering about the true definition of justice.
