Iran Army ready to respond to any threats: commander
TEHRAN – Commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Force Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari says the Army's Ground Forces are operating at peak defensive readiness and combat capability.
Heydari, addressing commanders and personnel in the Khuzestan province, underscored the active involvement of Ground Force units nationwide, particularly in border areas, defending the country with cutting-edge equipment. Any mistakes by enemies would prompt a swift and resolute response from the Ground Forces.
Delving into the region's political dynamics, he stated, "Global powers cannot tolerate the emergence of Islam and the Islamic Republic, introducing a new narrative to the world. The ruling system is retreating, a consequence of the positive impact of Iran in the region."
He highlighted the unwavering support of the Army's Ground Forces for the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran in all arenas, reaffirming their allegiance to the Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Iranian military experts and engineers have in recent years made remarkable breakthroughs in manufacturing a broad range of indigenous equipment, making the armed forces self-sufficient.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution has repeatedly called for efforts to maintain and boost Iran’s defense capabilities.
