Iran says it won’t let Israel’s security threats go unanswered
TEHRAN – Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman has discussed the Israeli atrocities in Gaza, pointing out the extreme brutality of these actions against the Palestinians.
In a press conference on Monday, Nasser Kanaani offered condolences for the five Iranian military advisors who fell victim to the heinous acts of the Zionist regime in Syria.
He urged international entities to promptly address the complaints and bring the perpetrators of these war crimes against the Palestinians to justice.
Highlighting the 108th day of the Zionist regime's siege of Gaza, Kanaani pointed out the number of casualties, stating, “The provided statistics reveal the devastating impact, with over 25,000 martyrs, with a majority being women and children. Every hour, 15 individuals, including 6 children, lose their lives, and 35 are injured. The destruction includes 30 hospitals, 121 ambulances, 370 schools, 221 mosques, and three churches.”
“Iran won't let the threats from the Zionist regime's prime minister go unanswered”
Responding to Benjamin Netanyahu's statements about a potential attack on Iran, the spokesman highlighted that these threats once again reveal the aggressive nature of this regime and the significant threat it poses to both regional and global security. “The core of this regime is incompatible with peace, persistently seeking opportunities to sow instability in the region and the world. This rhetoric is hollow, and Iran won't allow these threats to go unanswered,” he added.
“The U.S. should withdraw its unwavering support for Israel”
Kanaani clarified the situation regarding Israel's assassination of Iranian military advisors in Syria and stated, “The crimes committed by the Zionist regime and its actions against various targets in Syria and Lebanon are crystal clear. Their motives are evident; they aim to create conditions for an exit from the absolute defeat they faced in the Gaza Strip, where despite extensive crimes, they find themselves without an escape. This regime aims to plunge the region into chaos.”
He also urged the supporters of the Zionist regime, especially the U.S. to withdraw their support as they are complicit in the crimes committed by this inhumane entity.
“The tensions in the region are on the rise”
Kanaani commented on the regional escalation of the conflict, saying, “Unfortunately, we're witnessing a practical escalation of tension in the region, a consequence of the war and aggression against Palestine, coupled with the repercussions of U.S. support and the UN Security Council's ineffectiveness. These conflicts won't subside unless immediate action is taken to halt the war. The insecurity in the region stems from what we've witnessed in Gaza over the past 108 days. It's time for these countries to once again exert pressure on the regime and take a stance against its ongoing war.”
“Iran will respond to Israel's crimes in its own way.”
Discussing Iran's reaction to Israel's assassinations, Kanaani stated, “The crimes of the usurping Zionist regime against the Iranian government won't go unanswered and will have consequences. Iran will address Israel's crimes in its own way.”
