TEHRAN - A Kuwaiti parliamentary friendship group visited the Iranian parliament on Sunday.

The group was accompanied by Ebrahim Rezaei, the representative of the people of Dashtestan, Jafar Qaderi, the representative of Shiraz, and Malek Shariati Niasar, the representative of Tehran.

Earlier in November, the Iranian ambassador to Kuwait Mohammad Totonchi met with the Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly to discuss and exchange ideas on how to expand and develop parliamentary cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

Totonchi conveyed warm greetings from the Iranian Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Ghalibaf, to his Kuwaiti counterpart, extending congratulations on the commencement of the second round of the 17th Kuwaiti Parliament.

Totonchi emphasized that parliamentary cooperation stands as one of the pivotal domains for fostering people-to-people relations between Iran and Kuwait.
