Iranian Army unveils eight new books
TEHRAN- The Iranian Army unveiled eight new books on the topics of Sacred Defense, Subashi radar station, and biographies of military martyrs at a ceremony held on Tuesday.
The unveiling ceremony was attended by Iranian Army Deputy Commander Brigadier General Mohammad Hossein Dadras, Deputy Army Chief for Coordination Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, and distinguished military and non-military writers who have contributed to the field of military literature.
Speaking at the ceremony, Brigadier General Dadras highlighted the importance of confronting cultural invasion, a threat that has been repeatedly warned against by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei.
"Today, we are facing a cultural invasion that has targeted the essence of families and seeks to alter our tastes and values," stated General Dadras. "The task of intellectuals and writers in this era is to combat these attacks and provide suitable content to protect our youth from distortions."
He stressed that writers have a crucial role to play in guiding the culture of Iranian society.
"Our writers must be at the forefront of explaining the virtual space, which is a vital battleground in the current struggle," he added.
The eight newly unveiled books delve into various aspects of Iran's military history and the sacrifices made by the country's martyrs.
The books are expected to contribute to the preservation of Iran's military heritage and inspire future generations to uphold the values and principles exemplified by the martyrs
