TEHRAN – Iran’s men’s team secured an 86-51 victory over host Thailand in the 2024 IWBF Asia Oceania Zone (AOZ) Championships.

Iran are scheduled to face Japan on Monday.

Team Melli had defeated South Korea 67-48 in their first match.

The winners of both the men’s and women’s competition will qualify directly for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

The IWBF Asia Oceania Zone started on Jan. 12 in Bangkok, Thailand and will run until Jan. 20.
