TEHRAN PAPERS

The terrorist incident in Kerman is the enemy's revenge on the people of Iran

January 5, 2024 - 22:36

TEHRAN - In a commentary, Kayhan discussed the terrorist attack in Kerman and wrote: These days the Islamic resistance has subdued the Zionist regime with its courage and intelligence in the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, and other resistance groups in the region in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen have stood manfully in front of the global arrogance and the supporters of Zionist crimes and they have confused them and made them helpless.

In this situation, the occurrence of this painful and cruel incident shows that the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, when they have been helpless in front of the power and sagacity of the region took their revenge cruelly. They took revenge from the people of Iran and from children, women and men who had gathered to pay respect for the position of a national hero and a commander who helped the oppressed and victims of terrorism all over the world and in the West Asia region. Undoubtedly, the Iranian nation will punish the perpetrators of this disgraceful terrorist incident severely and painfully.

Shargh: Terror Triangle

Shargh also devoted its editorial to the terrorist attack on defenseless people in Kerman and said: Considering the current conditions of the region, it should be wondered that for the benefit of whom or which countries or actors this terrorist attack was carried out. Following this issue, this horrible crime in Kerman must be seen within a triangle, one side of which is the intelligence, operational and espionage system of the Zionist regime and the United States of America. On the other side, the survivors of ISIS, and it should be acknowledged that the other side of this triangle can be the rental terrorist groups, for whom ideology or the reason for carrying out terrorist operations does not differ, and they are willing to carry out terrorist operations with any country and actor. According to what was said, when one side of this triangle of terrorism takes responsibility for the bitter tragedy of Kerman, the other two sides cannot be considered innocent.

Etemad: Consequences of Al-Aqsa Storm

In an analysis, Etemad discussed the consequences of the Al-Aqsa Storm and quoted Hossein Jaberi Ansari, the former deputy foreign minister for Arab affairs, as saying: The operation of the Palestinian resistance on October 7 was a surprising event that divided the situation of Palestine and West Asia before and after it. With this operation, the legend of the invincibility of Israel's army, intelligence services, all imaginations and psychological operations during the past decades collapsed in this framework. Also, the influence of Iran and the resistance group is more obvious and cannot be removed from the regional trends. In other words, it became clear, that without the support of Iran and the resistance groups, no trend in the region can have the element of continuity and stability. In addition, the concept, nature and level of coordination and companionship between Iran and the resistance group was faced with a kind of test and its real dimensions became clearer in a great objective experience. On the other hand, it revealed the reality of the double standards, oppressive and brutal policy of America and the West and the falseness and deceitfulness of the slogans of democracy and human rights as well as ended many doubts and questions in this field among the masses and elites of Iran and the world.

Vatan-e-Emrooz: Infanticide from Gaza to Kerman

In a note, Vatan-e-Emrooz discussed the similarity of crimes in Gaza and Kerman. It wrote: Just as children, women and defenseless people were killed in the most crowded places in Gaza, the same thing happened in Kerman. The images of these crimes in the two regions are quite familiar and similar. Contrary to the situation of the Zionist regime, which became anxious and angry after the October 7 operation and is trying to lead the world towards anxiety and intimidation, it is a society that behaves based on rationality, so it does not rush in this direction and is not captured by emotions and excitement. Soleimani's soldiers are ready for revenge. It seems that the story of the Zionists' behavior in "Infanticide" should also be seen and analyzed in this context. After the October 7 operation, the Zionists have not been able to release even one of their captives, and even when they approached the prisoners, the resistance forces killed them. In this situation, it was very predictable that the enemy was thinking of carrying out sabotage operations in the region. The assassination of the pilgrims of Martyr Soleimani in Kerman is an example of these actions.
