Kerman terror attack sparks international condemnation
TEHRAN- Following the tragic terrorist incident in Kerman, Iran on Wednesday, world leaders and organizations have condemned the attack and expressed their condolences.
In a message sent to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his deepest condolences, condemning the attack.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a statement expressing his deep sorrow and sympathy for the victims of the attack.
"We are very sorry for the heinous terrorist attacks in Kerman province of Iran. May God have mercy on those who lost their lives in these attacks and I wish the injured a speedy recovery," Erdogan said.
Iraq's National Wisdom Movement leader, Seyyed Ammar al-Hakim, also condemned the attack and called for the international community to unite against terrorism. "I strongly condemn the terrorist act which resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of Iranians," Hakim said. "I ask Almighty God for mercy and forgiveness for the martyrs and healing and health for the injured."
The political office of the Yemeni Ansarullah movement also condemned the explosions near the tomb of martyr Qassem Soleimani, calling the act "criminal." "We condemn the explosions that targeted a group of Iranian citizens in the city of Kerman, Iran, near the tomb of the martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani, may God have mercy on him," the statement read.
The Islamic Jihad organization also condemned the terrorist attack, offering condolences to the Iranian people and calling for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. "Such a vicious attack on innocent people will increase the unity of the nations of the Islamic Ummah and their adherence to resistance," the organization said.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani, has strongly condemned the horrific terrorist attacks in Kerman, Iran, which claimed the lives of numerous innocent people.
In a message to Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Jilani expressed Pakistan's deepest condolences to the bereaved families and the entire Iranian people. He also conveyed Pakistan's solidarity with Iran during this difficult time.
"Pakistan unequivocally condemns the inhumane terrorist attacks in Kerman, Iran, which resulted in the tragic loss of innocent lives," Jilani stated. "We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in this hour of grief. We pray for the swift recovery of the injured."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan condemned the terrorist incident in Kerman, saying “We express heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist act in Kerman province of Iran, and wish a speedy recovery to those injured. As a country deeply suffered from terrorism, Azerbaijan condemns all its forms and manifestations.
