TEHRAN- According to a report released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), 28.737 million tons of basic commodities worth $48.358 billion were imported to the country during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2023).

The IRICA data indicates that the nine-month import of the basic goods shows 12.29 percent rise in value, and 6.04 percent growth in weight, year on year.
