TEHRAN- Average housing price declined 2.2 percent in the capital Tehran during the ninth Iranian calendar month Azar (ended on December 21), compared to the previous month, according to a report released by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).

Based on the CBI data, the number of real estate deals fell 1.2 percent in the capital city in the ninth month from the eighth month.

Experts believe that the housing market has entered a long-term stagnation and the prices are not expected to change drastically anytime soon.
