Freedom-seekers all over world fed up with Zionist atrocities in Gaza

TEHRAN- The Human Rights Council of Iran released a statement om Monday, saying that free people all over the globe are fed up with the passivity of international institutions of governments due to the Zionist Regime’s atrocities in Gaza.

“Free people all over the world are fed up with the inaction of the international institutions of the countries claiming human rights in front of the crimes of the Zionist Regime in Gaza, and they demand an end to the crimes and aggression and the punishment of the war criminals, it is the most appropriate time to reform the existing human rights mechanisms and design a new international order; an order based on solidarity and equality, free from any discrimination, and without dual political approaches to the category of human rights,” the statement reads.

The full text of the HCHR’s statement is as follows:

December 10, as International Human Rights Day, is a reminder of the change in the global approach to fundamental, inviolable and universal human rights.

This new approach was achieved when the international community, affected by the injuries of World War II, decided to block the way of the return of crisis and widespread violence to the international community, with respect for humanity.

The United Nations has welcomed International Human Rights Day with the slogan "Consolidation and continuation of human rights towards the future", while the increase in the intensity and scope of warmongering, the intensification of geopolitical tensions, the return of the threat of nuclear confrontation, the deepening of inequalities and injustices, the increase of famine and hunger, the increasing aggravation of absolute poverty, new challenges and threats (cyber war, falsification of information and hate speech) have made the hope for the consolidation and continuation of human rights less than before.

Now, on the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, there is no justification for celebrating, congratulating, and expressing satisfaction.

During the last 75 years, the international community and the relevant human rights treaties have not presented any achievements in reducing human suffering. In the past decade alone, hundreds of thousands of innocent people have been massacred in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, and now in occupied Palestine.

The result of 75 years of activity of various human rights mechanisms, the implementation of programs that cost billions of dollars, the holding of countless international meetings and sessions, the issuance of various statements, and the approval of a large number of resolutions show that the results obtained have not been proportionate to the investments made.

Now that the world is witnessing the disastrous scenes of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity by the Zionist Regime in Gaza Strip, and every day " the right to life", "human dignity", " the right to property", " the right to freedom of movement" " the right to health", "the right to safe drinking water", "the right to education", "the right to adequate housing", "the right to self-determination" and many other rights of the residents of the world's largest and densest outdoor prison are being violated and at the same time, no mechanism is able to prevent the continuation of the crimes of the war machine of the Israeli Regime; and now that free people all over the world are fed up with the inaction of the international institutions of the countries claiming human rights in front of the crimes of the Zionist Regime in Gaza, and they demand an end to the crimes and aggression and the punishment of the war criminals, it is the most appropriate time to reform the existing human rights mechanisms and design a new international order; an order based on solidarity and equality, free from any discrimination, and without dual political approaches to the category of human rights.

Believing that the “consolidation and continuation of human rights depends on freeing international structures from the influence of powers whose interests are in creating crises and warmongering and who do not have the slightest belief in human rights”, the HCHR invites the free nations of the world to continue the process of demanding, to compel the United Nations, the Human Rights Council and the countries claiming human rights to accept the responsibility, accountability and to stop inaction, so that the ground for the prosecution and punishment of Israeli criminals is provided as soon as possible.

“World Human Rights Day is day of accountability for biggest human rights violator in Afghanistan”

According to Iran’s ambassador and special envoy to Afghanistan, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights’ birthday is a day of responsibility for the world’s worst violation of human rights, notably by the United States.

In a post on X, Hassan Kazemi Qomi said, “As long as the war crimes of the U.S. and its allies against civilians are not prosecuted, this declaration will remain a political document and serve the regime of domination.”

He went on to say that if the Universal Declaration of Human Rights cannot provide justice for thousands of children who have been victims of the U.S. and Israel’s crimes and occupation from Afghanistan to Gaza, the lawsuit is just a political manifesto to consolidate and impose the domination system.
