Speaker calls for boycott of Israeli goods
TEHRAN- Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has called on the government and the Foreign Ministry to take measures to counter the entry of Israeli goods into the country.
Ghalibaf urged the Foreign Ministry to compile a list of companies that have Israeli shareholders. Additionally, he called on the government to implement measures to prevent the import of goods from these companies into Iran.
He said, “We are witnessing that the Zionist regime, with the cooperation of the United States, keeps killing Gazan people and the regime also destroys the vital infrastructures.”
According to Ghalibaf, the main cause of the genocide in Gaza is the U.S. military, media, and diplomatic support of the Zionist regime.
The parliament speaker reiterated that the Zionist regime, today, is much more hated in the public opinion of the world than in the past, with the regime's fake power gone with the wind even among its allies.
“Muslims and freedom seekers around the world expect their governments not to allow bodies such as the UN Security Council to allow the Zionist regime to continue the genocide in the Gaza Strip,” he noted.
In the end, he stated, “With God's help, as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution had emphasized, the Palestinian issue will be resolved and Palestinian sovereignty will be established in the entire Palestinian land.”
