TEHRAN – The Export Guarantee Fund of Iran (EGFI) has issued $500 million of guarantees for the exporters of technical and engineering services in the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-November 21), the fund’s managing director said.

Speaking in a ceremony on the occasion of the fund’s 52nd establishment anniversary, Amir Borhani said the Export Guarantee Fund cooperates with many banks and insurance companies to provide new services.

“In the 13th government, attention to the neighbors and new export markets was on the agenda, and the fund has been providing services to the exporters to many countries including Oman, Qatar, Belarus, Serbia, Hungary and Russia,” Borhani said.
