TEHRAN - Describing Iran’s constitution as “the greatest development document,” the vice president for legal affairs said all the principles of the constitution have been taken into consideration.

Speaking on Sunday at a conference, Mohammad Dehghan said the constitution has never been viewed as a “ceremonial” matter. Yet all its principles have been taken into account.

He added that in the Raisi administration, for the first time, a follow-up commission was established under the chairmanship of President Raisi on implementing the constitution.

“For the first time, a follow-up system for the implementation of the constitution was formed by the Raisi administration so that Iranian people can report cases of violations of the constitution and they can present their suggestions for the implementation of the constitution,” The vice president stated.

According to Dehghan, establishing the constitutional law network was another action by the Raisi administration which was formed with the cooperation of law professors along with the support of the provincial governors.

Pointing to this year’s slogan, he said that the terms of the constitution have been put on the agenda.

In the wake of the Raisi administration's endeavor to implement the constitution, about 28 meetings have been held with professors to review the implementation of the constitution, he announced.
