Missiles rain down on Israeli sites

Hamas responds powerfully to renewed Israeli bombardment of Gaza

TEHRAN- In a show of its military strength the armed wing of Hamas, the al-Qassam brigades, responded immediately to the Israeli massacres after the week-old truce agreement collapsed in the early hours of Friday morning.

The resistance movement was quick to fire a missile barrage at Tel Aviv, triggering sirens to sound.

"Al-Qassam Brigades bombard Tel Aviv with a missile barrage in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians," a statement on its social media account read.

The Israeli military has not commented on any damage inside Tel Aviv, but Israeli media outlets reported casualties on Friday.

The intensity of the attacks throughout Friday and Saturday by Hamas and other Gaza-based factions indicates the Palestinian resistance is as strong as it was on the first day of the al-Aqsa Storm operation on October 7.

Israeli media has revealed that, as a result of the barrages of missiles and rockets by the Palestinian resistance, the Israeli Iron Dome, had used up, on Friday alone, the equivalent of approximately $70 million in trying to intercept the projectiles.

In its latest measure against the United Nations, the Israeli regime has refused to renew the visa of a top UN aid official for the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank. Reports suggest that one of the largest missile and rocket salvos to date has been fired from the Gaza Strip.

Despite eight weeks since the indiscriminate Israeli war on Gaza began, the resistance continues to target Israeli troops and engage in heavy clashes with ground forces while targeting and destroying Israeli military vehicles.

Missile attacks are still being launched from various areas of the Gaza Strip, as part of the Palestinian resumption of resistance to renewed indiscriminate Israeli aggression on the blockaded coastal enclave.

The al-Qassam Brigades said it had targeted gatherings of the occupation army east of the Magen settlement on Saturday with a missile barrage.

The armed wing of Hamas published a short clip on Saturday that shows the mobilization of Israeli tanks in three separate areas north of the central region of the Gaza Strip.

The video highlights the targeting of the tanks with three drones that can be seen being launched. According to al-Qassem, the drones targeted and destroyed the Israeli tanks.

The armed wing of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the al-Quds brigades, has published scenes showing the wreckage of an Israeli Skylark drone, which was shot down from the sky in the central region of the Gaza Strip.

The al-Quds brigades declined to reveal the weapon it had used to bring down the Israeli drone.

The al-Quds Brigades also said the resistance movement was hitting the occupied cities, Israeli military sites and bases, and settlements with intense missile salvoes.

In a separate statement, it pointed out that it has renewed its attacks in the occupied holy city of al-Quds (Jerusalem) as well as occupied cities deep inside 1948 Palestine.

The al-Quds brigades bombed the settlements of Ashdod and Ashkelon with intense missile barrages, stressing that the bombing came in response to the Israeli massacres against the Palestinian people and a continuation of the al-Aqsa Storm operation.

The armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad is also engaging in fierce clashes with the occupation troops in the vicinity of al-Rantisi children's hospital in the al-Nasser neighborhood of Gaza City.

The Israeli military attacked al-Rantisi children's hospital, the latest in a long list of Gaza's hospitals that the regime has rendered out of action, despite international humanitarian law stipulating schools and hospitals are protected civilian objects.

The al-Quds brigades are engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli ground forces trying to advance in the south of Gaza.

Its forces have also claimed responsibility for targeting occupation troops in the Kissufim forests with a barrage of mortar shells.

Reports indicate the Palestinian resistance confronted the occupation ground forces on Saturday and engaged in fierce clashes with them in the southwest and southeast of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli military had said it would conduct ground offensives in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam has also launched rocket salvoes towards the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip. Israeli media reported that sirens sounded in the settlements.

Hamas confirmed that it launched a missile salvo in the direction of Tel Aviv, settlements in central occupied Palestine, and in the direction of occupied Ashdod.

The armed wing of Hamas also announced that its resistance soldiers were able to target an Israeli ground force, stationed inside a building in Beit Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, with four anti-tank missiles.

Other Palestinian resistance factions published statements that included Israeli soldiers being hit by a sniper, north of the Martyrs Junction and Israeli occupation forces have been bombed west of Gaza City with medium-caliber mortar shells.

Earlier, the occupation army admitted that there had been nine casualties among its ranks since the resumption of its ground offensives that have been met with the Palestinian resistance.

It has been well documented that the Israeli military downplays its casualty figures, only to publish a higher death toll at the end of a war.

Nevertheless, the Palestinian resistance with all its factions and Hamas leading the path have proven that they have not been damaged by the Israeli war on Gaza.

All the indications suggest that for as long as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to stretch this war (against the civilian population of Gaza) out, the Palestinian resistance will maintain its military might to fight off the ground offensives and keep up the rocket and missiles salvos at Israeli settlements.

There has been no indication, so far, that the military strength of the resistance has been or can be damaged.

For those caught up in the Israeli attacks, with no end date set, for now, is solely the civilian population of the Gaza Strip.

This is while the Israeli regime continues to show total disregard for the concerns of the international community.

In its latest measure against the United Nations, the regime has refused to renew the visa of a top UN aid official for the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank.

Lynn Hastings, a veteran UN official, has served as the UN humanitarian coordinator for the Palestinian territories for nearly three years.

"We've been informed by the Israeli authorities that they would not renew the visa of Ms Hastings past the due date at some point later this month," UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric told reporters.

This comes after the Palestinian Red Crescent said the Israeli regime was barring any aid from entering Gaza via the Rafah crossing.
