Iran calls for continued constructive interaction with IAEA
TEHRAN- The Iranian Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Toutounchi, expressed Iran's desire to maintain constructive interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
"Despite the uncooperative behavior of the three European countries and the U.S., Tehran has extended an invitation to the Director General of the IAEA to address any remaining issues," said Toutounchi.
During a meeting with Kuwait’s Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations, the Iranian ambassador discussed the mechanism for bilateral cooperation in international gatherings and institutions.
The ambassador also pointed out that the three European countries and the U.S. are attempting to exaggerate minor issues in the Director General's report to create unnecessary alarm.
Kuwait’s Abdulaziz Saud Al-Jarallah emphasized the Arab country's support for honest cooperation between Iran and the IAEA.
He also criticized certain countries for failing to uphold their proclaimed commitment to human rights, particularly in relation to recent events in Gaza.
