TEHRAN – The Foreign Ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan have expressed the two countries’ willingness to deepen and develop bilateral cooperation during a phone call.
Iran’s top diplomat, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, on Saturday, reiterated his country’s call for the expansion of ties with Baku. “The more we strengthen regional cooperation, the better it will be for the whole region,” he said during the phone conversation on Saturday.
Azerbaijan’s senior diplomat, for his part, highlighted the need to eliminate foreign interference, and work in tandem to achieve mutual goals.
