U.S. implicated in Gaza massacre: ex-nuclear chief
TEHRAN- the former chief of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi, pointing to the United State's claims over human rights, emphasized its role in killing Gazans.
In an interview with Al Jazeera on Tuesday evening, Salehi highlighted the Gazans’ persistence in the War.
He also highlighted Gazans' steadfastness even though they have been subject to Israeli violations.
Salehi underlined the role of Al Jazeera in depicting the realities of the Palestinian issue.
Regarding the American’s threats to Iran, the former AEOI chief pointed out that the threats have existed for nearly 40 years, instead, the one who wants to do something, does not speak up.
He warned against inflaming the conflicts in the region, adding that Iran is capable of defending itself.
The U.S. does not want to go to war with Iran; it is smarter than what Israelis think, according to Salehi.
“We keep baking Palestine and resistance since it is part of our belief and policy,” Salehi said.
He added that Iran’s stance toward the resistance in the region is quite clear, but this does not mean that Iran affects their decisions.
According to Salehi, resistance has increased its defense capabilities.
He reiterated that Israel’s defeat had begun since the nations felt responsible toward resistance.
