‘America is blamed globally for Gaza crimes’
TEHRAN - Brigadier General Ramezan Sharif, the chief of Intifada and Quds Headquarters of Iran's Islamic Propagation Coordination Council, said on Tuesday that people worldwide pin responsibility on the U.S. for the continuation of the “war crimes” in Gaza.
The meeting was held in the Islamic Development Coordination Council with the presence of the head and the members of Intifada and Quds Headquarters.
“Almost 40 days have passed since the great operation of Hamas, yet the Zionist army has not succeeded in achieving even a minor victory," said Ramezan Sharif.
Referring to Operation al-Aqsa Storm, he said that the Hamas fighters returned to Gaza safely after October 7, preparing themselves for the Israeli ground invasion.
He also said the Israeli army has proceeded 8 percent in Gaza.
Referring to the casualties of the Zionist army, he added that 15 tanks were destroyed just on Monday night.
“Since the early days of the war, Hamas has asked the international observers to monitor the Gaza hospitals, and in case there was anything than treatment, they (observers) can announce it to the whole world,” added Ramezan Sharif.
He addressed the extensive Israeli brutalities, saying the Tel Aviv regime has extended its barbarities even against the staff of international organizations.
He called CENTCOM and British military advisors “responsible” for the ongoing crimes in the enclave.
According to him, supporting Palestine is of top priority for Iran due to “religious, moral, and humanitarian” aspects.
Elsewhere, he pointed to the pro-Palestinian rallies that have been staged in Iran to denounce the Israeli crimes and back the oppressed Palestinians.
He also announced that there will be a great pro-Palestinian rally on Saturday which will be held in a bid to back the Palestinian children.
The IRGC chief General Hossein Salami is expected to address the rally.
