What’s in Tehran art galleries

* A collection of paintings by Elham Shiravi is on view in an exhibition at Negar Gallery.   The exhibit named “The Winning Deck” will be running until November 27 at the gallery, which can be found at 54 near Iranshahr St., Karim Khan Blvd.

Painting 

* An exhibition of paintings by Rahim Molaeian is currently underway at Afrand Gallery. 

The exhibition will continue until November 24 at the gallery located at 48 Jalal Hosseini St., Jahan Ara St., off Jalal Ale-Ahmad Highway.

* Peggy Abbaspour is showcasing her latest paintings in an exhibition at Sharif Gallery.

Entitled “Silk Poison”, the exhibit will be running until November 24 at the gallery that can be found at 11 Mahruzadeh Alley, Shariati Ave. near Quds Square.

* A collection of paintings by Puria Qaregozlu is on display in an exhibition at Ehsan Gallery.

The exhibit named “The Active Side of Infinity” will run until November 14 at the gallery located at No. 22, East 14th St. in the Ajudanieh neighborhood.

* Bostan Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of paintings by Maryam Dormani.

The exhibit named “Menopause” will run until November 22 at the gallery located at No. 71, 22th Alley, Larestan St. off Motahhari Ave.

* Paintings by Samira Eskandarfar and Hamed Sahihi are currently on display in an exhibition at Aran Gallery. 

The exhibition will be running until November 24 at the gallery, which can be found at 5 Lolagar St., Neauphle-le-Chateau St.

* A collection of paintings by Ali Golestaneh is on view in an exhibition at Tarrahan Azad Gallery.

The exhibition named “Aras” will be running until November 21 at the gallery located at 5 Salmas Square, off Fatemi St.

* Ech Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of paintings by a group of artists including Bahman Jalali, Nasser Bakhshi, Farrokh Mahdavi, Reza Lavasani, Ahmad Morshedlu and Samira Alikhanzadeh. 

The exhibit entitled “Process” will run until November 24 at the gallery located at 10 Mirza Taraj opposite Dowlat St., Shariati Ave.

Installation

* An exhibition of sets of installation by Elham Banai is currently underway at Seyhun Gallery.

The exhibit named “Mourning House” will continue until November 22 at the gallery located at No. 11, 4th St., Vozara Ave.

Calligraphic painting

* Hoom Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of calligraphic paintings by Behruz Kiani.  

Entitled “Elegy for Calligraphy”, the exhibit runs until November 20 at the gallery that can be found at No. 2, 4th Alley off Qaem-Maqam St.
