Iran says Resistance hands not tied up
TEHRAN- The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has noted that the resistance front’s hands are not tied up and there are alternative choices if Israel continues to commit atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza.
In an interview with Lebanon’s Arabic language al-Mayadeen television on Tuesday, Nasser Kanaani said, “We are witnessing an unequal war against Palestinian people in Gaza, and the onslaught is followed by numerous crimes.”
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned on Tuesday that “if the crimes of the Zionist regime continue, Muslims and resistance forces will lose their patience and then nobody can prevent them.”
On October 13, the Iranian foreign minister also said, "If the war crimes of the Zionist regime are not stopped, any possibility is conceivable.
Kanaani said, “The resistance’s hands are not tied up. It will not stand idly by and will deliver a deterrent response.”
He continued, “The Axis of Resistance is not constrained to one specific front, and the Zionists should consider any scenario as fairly likely.”
The ministry official called Israel’s war on Gaza “genocide” and said, “We are witnessing genocide against Palestinians.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, he said, “All those who follow Israeli affairs acknowledge that the Zionist regime is not what it used to be prior to October 7.”
The spokesman was referring to the surprise October 7 attack by the Hamas resistance forces on occupied Palestinian territories in which Israel was caught off guard and suffered a humiliating defeat that it has not seen since its establishment in 1948.
The war between resistance forces and Israel entered a new stage as the Zionist regime bombarded a hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday in which at least 500 innocent lives were lost.
The attack which has been described as barbaric and horrific by many world leaders has angered people, including Muslims, around the world.
Kanaani said on Monday that “we have heard from the Resistance that they have no problem with continuing the resistance.”
The spokesman said, “They said they have the military capacity to continue resistance on the ground for a long time.”
