TEHRAN – “The Miracles of the Namiya General Store” by Keigo Higashino, a Japanese author who is chiefly known for his mystery novels, has recently been published in Persian.

Nafiseh and Sobhan Khosrojerdi are the translators of the book published by Milkan Publications.

The book follows the story of three troubled teenagers in the late 20th century, who seek refuge in an abandoned store known as the Namiya General Store. They decide to write letters seeking advice from the store's former owner, hoping to find solace and guidance. The letters take the teenagers and the reader on a journey through the life of the store's former owner, uncovering his struggles, triumphs, and miracles. Through his letters, the owner addresses the teenagers’ problems and offers them insightful and inspiring advice, teaching them valuable life lessons.
