TEHRAN – Iran will take part at the Asian Men’s Handball Qualification for the 2024 Olympic Games in Doha, Qatar.

The Qualification will take place at Duhail Handball Sports Hall in Doha from Oct. 18 to 28, 2023.

Team Melli have been drawn in Group B along with Bahrain, Kuwait, Kazakhstan and Japan.

Group A consists of hosts Qatar, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, India and China.

Iran will start the campaign with a match against Japan on Wednesday.

The winners of the event will qualify for the Men’s Handball Competition of the 33rd Summer Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Paris, France, from July 25 to Aug. 11, 2024.
