TEHRAN – Iran learned their fate at the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup on Friday.

Team Melli are drawn in Group B along with Spain, Tahiti and Argentina.

The prestigious competition will be held in the UAE from Feb. 15 to 25.

Iran came third at their last appearance at the global finals, and thrashed Japan 6-0 in the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup final in March. Tahiti finished runners-up twice, while Spain have one silver medal to their name.

Group A: United Arab Emirates, Egypt, the U.S., Italy

 Group B: Spain, Iran, Tahiti, Argentina

 Group C: Senegal, Belarus, Colombia, Japan

Group D: Brazil, Oman, Portugal, Mexico
