What’s in Tehran art galleries
* The first solo painting exhibition of Shayan Sha’ban is underway at Saless Gallery. Titled “Lonely Me’s,” the exhibit will be running until October 17 at the gallery located at No. 148, Karim Khan Ave.
Painting
* Paintings by Ali Golbaz are on show at Nagar Art Gallery at an exhibition titled “Living Abstraction”.
The exhibit will display the works until October 17. The gallery can be found at No. 154, Karim Khan Ave.
* Ario Farzi has put his paintings on display at Aria Gallery.
The exhibit named “The Stones” will run until October 16 at the gallery located at No. 10, Zarrin Alley, near Beheshti St., Vali-e Asr Ave.
*A group painting exhibition titled “My Present State” Curated by Ahmad Ariamanesh is underway at Pardis Mellat Gallery.
Displaying works of 25 artists, the exhibition will run until October 13 at the gallery located at Mellat Cineplex, Hashemi Rafsanjani Hwy.
* Ech Art Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of paintings by Hosseinali Zabehi.
On display are abstract and expressionist works. The exhibit will wrap up October 13. The gallery can be found at No. 10, Mirza Tarah Alley, Opposite Dowlat St., Shariati St.
* A group painting exhibition titled “The experience of living in the age of unstable economy” is underway at Idea Gallery.
Curated by Noushin Heydari, the artworks will remain on display until October 12 at the gallery located at No. 26, 18th St., Ghem Magham St.

The exhibit named “She Is Not Within Herself” will continue until October 20 at the gallery located at No. 149, Bahar-e Shiraz Sq.
* “Tehran, Black & White” is the name of an exhibition curated by Amirali Ardakanian at City Photo Museum.
Showing old Tehran through the lens of picture postcards, the exhibit will go on till November 5 at the gallery, found at Bahar-e Shiraz Park, Bahr-e Shiraz Sq.
* Shadi Ghadirian’s photo are on display at Silk Road Gallery.
Entitled “Seven Stones”, the exhibition will be running until October 20 at the gallery located at No. 210, Keshavarz blvd.
Calligraphic painting
* Calligraphic paintings by Kamran Kouhestani and Majid Rafipour are on show at Niavaran Cultural Center.
The exhibit will conclude on October 13. Niavaran Cultural Center is located across from Niavaran Park on Pasdaran Ave.
