TEHRAN – Hedyeh Kazemi of Iran claimed a bronze medal in the Women's Kayak Single 500m in the 2022 Asian Games on Tuesday.

She crossed the line in 2:00.635 minutes.

China’s Li Dongyin timed 1:58.931 while Singapore’s Stephenie Chen was second in 2:00.074.

With more than 12,000 competitors from 45 nations and territories, the Asian Games has more participants than the Olympics.

Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to the Games in 34 sports events.
