TEHRAN – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Alireza Mohmadi lost to Azerbaijan’s Rafig Huseynov 2-1 in the 2023 World Wrestling Championships 82kg final bout on Friday.

Aues Gonibov (AIN) defeated Turkey’s Burhan Akbudak and Yaroslav Filchakov of Ukraine beat Moldovan Mihail Bradu to win the bronze medals.

The 2023 World Wrestling Championships are being held from Sept. 16 to 24 in Belgrade, Serbia.
