“Bright Blue Days” author: Writing about martyrs is a duty
The book “Bright Blue Days” is the 27th book of the twenty-seventh series written by Maryam Erfanian, which is about martyr Mahdi Lajevardi, one of the commanders of the 27th Mohammad Rasulullah Division.
The book confronts the audience with the realities of this general's life, from his childhood to the time of his martyrdom, based on interviews with his family, friends, and comrades, far from exaggeration and fantasy.
In the beginning, Maryam Erfanian said that the file about this martyr was given to her in 2014, and considering the personality type of the martyr, she became very interested in writing his life.
“I chose the name of the book in consideration of the martyr's family and his elevation to the sky so that the audience will finally get to know a heroic commander by reviewing The Bright Blue Days,” said Erfanian.
Referring to the character of the martyr, Erfanian explained that Lajevardi was a hero who had gone from being fascinated with football and running through alleys, to being martyred in the imposed war. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he became an official member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and went to the front after completing general education and armor specialization.
She stated that fortunately, many writers write in the field of holy defense and resistance literature; But they rarely write the events of the war and the personal narration of the martyr about the operation in detail.
She went on to explain the challenges she had to publish the book and said that on the one hand, there were the difficulties that researchers had in conducting the interviews over the years, on the other hand, there were the challenges she had while writing, and finally, the problems of printing and distribution by publishers.
“One of the problems of the publishers is the book's popularity and its distribution. A concerned publisher should try to inform, advertise and distribute the book properly,” she said.
In the end, she also said that the book "Always Waiting" which is about the martyred defender of the shrine, Mohsen Qajarian, is in the process of being published.
