Iranian taekwondo athlete Hadipour announces retirement

TEHRAN – Iran’s Armin Hadipour announced his retirement from taekwondo on Monday.
The 28-year-old athlete won a silver medal in the 2017 World Taekwondo Championships in Muju, South Korea and also seized a bronze medal in the 2019 World Taekwondo Championships in Manchester, England.
Hadipour has won a gold medal in the 2016 Asian Championships and two bronzes at 2018 and 2021.
He is also a three-time gold medal winner of the Universiade 2015, 2017 and 2019.
