Iran’s upper hand in nuclear industry
TEHRAN (IP)-- The Hamshahri newspaper, affiliated to the Tehran Municipality, put the spotlight on Iran’s uranium enrichment to purity of 60 percent and warned the U.S. either lift the sanctions or witness more uranium enrichment.
Until the U.S. has not given us the assurance to fulfill its obligations and lift the sanctions, the enrichment in Iran will continue based on internal strategies, said Seyyed Mohammadreza Mirtajoddini, head of the strategic faction of the parliament.
Halting more uranium enrichment depends on the opposite parties to fulfill their obligations. Iran will reduce the purity of its uranium enrichment whenever the sanctions are lifted.
Kayhan: Every 98 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted
The conservative Kayhan newspaper ran a story headlined “Every 98 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted” as it censured the U.S. for expelling the Islamic Republic from the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).
The publication cited a report published in 2018 in which it said one in five American women and one in 67 men are raped at some point in their lives.
Among female college students, 23 percent said they experienced some form of unwanted sexual contact by force or under threat of force, or while they were incapacitated because of alcohol and drug abuse, according to the new survey by the Association of American Universities.
The U.S., a self-proclaimed defender of ‘human rights’ or ‘women's rights’, made extensive efforts to expel our country from the UN Commission on the Status of Women under the pretext that women’s rights are not respected in the Islamic Republic, the newspaper wrote, suggesting the American officials to take care of their own countries.
Arman-e Emrooz: Get out of isolation trap
Arman-e Emrooz, in a commentary, urged the government to reform its foreign policy and prevent providing more excuses to countries that seek to isolate Iran in the international arena.

Arman-e Melli: Iran and American human rights
The reformist Arman-e Melli newspaper, also in a critique, wrote that Tehraners and metropolitan citizens are breathing Mazut, and blamed Alireza Zakani, the Tehran Mayor, for not holding a single meeting regarding choking air pollution.
In its editorial, the publication also reacted to the removal of Iran from the Commission on Status of Women, and stated that the issue of human rights, including women’s rights, has turned into an American-Zionist tool to put pressure on the independent countries.
A new campaign has been launched to isolate Iran that the purpose of which is to create a new social and political pressure on Iran. Whether the Islamic Republic is a member of the CSW or not, Iran will not be affected by such commotions and it will act based on its internal policies in regard to upholding the rights of citizens in accordance to religious teachings and national standards.
Vatan-e Emrooz: Victory of football over politics
Vatan-e Emrooz called the 2022 World Cup as the most political football event over the last 50 years, and wrote that the victory of football over all other aspects that tried to influence the World Cup was an indisputable fact.
Although Qatar was named the first eliminated team of the competition, the most important winner, even before the whistle of the opening match, was this small country. Using all possible tools, Qatar organized a very large and complex event that once again highlighted the region around the Persian Gulf, the Arabian Peninsula, Mesopotamia and the Iranian Plateau as the cradle of human civilization in modern human societies.
On the other hand, the flag of Palestine and slogans with the theme of ‘Palestinian freedom’ starred at the cup. And together with the brilliance of the Arab teams, especially Morocco, Arab football fans held celebrations even in major European and American cities.
Ham Mihan: Scientific exchange with North Korea!
Ham Mihan analyzed enhanced academic cooperation between Iran and North Korea from a political point of view.
In such an atmosphere, the academic cooperation with North Korea can only lead to further isolation of Iranian universities and academics in the region and the wider world, Ham Mihan warned.
The requirement for scientific development is to have extensive global interaction. Considering the minimal communication of North Korea with the world, it is unlikely that this country will enjoy scientific development in many fields. It is has only focused on military and nuclear technologies.
