Plan to hold legal rallies in Iran will be finalized soon: political activist
TEHRAN - A plan for holding legal rallies in Iran will soon be finalized and implemented, a political activist announced on Saturday.
Hossein Kanaani Moqaddam told ISNA that the Interior Ministry’s political department recently held a meeting on crafting the plan for legal gatherings. He said the meeting was attended by representatives of the House of Parties.
In the meeting the draft was studied by the representatives of the three reformist, principlist and independent camps in the House of Parties, Moqaddam said.
“I believe that a very good step has been done by the Interior Ministry and I hope the plan will be implemented soon,” he added.
Of course, the draft has been prepared through consultations with military bodies, law enforcement forces, the State Security Council, and the Supreme National Security Council, Moqaddam explained.
