TEHRAN – The value of transactions conducted at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) reached 230 trillion rials (about $618.9 million) in the week ended on December 16, IRIB reported.

As reported, during the said week 132,078 tons of hydrocarbon products worth 214.54 trillion rials (about $577.3 million) were traded at IRENEX to account for 92 percent of the total exchanges.

Iran Energy Exchange is one of Iran's stock markets, which was established in 2013 as the fourth official stock exchange of the country under the supervision of the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO) in order to carry out energy carrier transactions.
