TEHRAN - Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds is hosting the 19th edition of Iran’s international exhibition of metallurgy, dubbed IRAN METAFO, during November 30-December 3, IRIB reported.

As reported, over 500 domestic companies along with 50 foreign exhibitors active in the fields of metallurgy, steel, mining industries, non-ferrous metals, casting, industrial furnaces, heat treatment and related industries, are presenting their latest products and achievements in this exhibition.

The main focus of the exhibition is on the minerals and mining industry, iron and steel technology and products, casting, molding, forging, and machine works, non-ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, zinc, lead, and precious metals), and industrial ceramics as well as furnaces and measurement systems.

The METAFO exhibition actually covers seven exhibitions, including the iron and steel exhibition with subcategories of raw materials and minerals, raw steel and iron alloys, steel manufacturing technology, iron and steel factories, equipment and machinery, and various steel products.

The second exhibition is the casting, molding and forging section which covers all kinds of casting methods, molding, blacksmithing and forging, industrial furnaces, machining and drilling, plating and coating, welding and welding equipment, and cutting methods.

Exhibition of non-ferrous metals deals with various subsectors including precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, titanium, etc.), exploration and extraction of non-ferrous metals, processing of non-ferrous metals, production of metal products, machinery, and equipment.

The mining and mining industry exhibition covers other areas like metallic and non-ferrous minerals and metal types, coal and coke, consulting and geotechnics, exploration, drilling and extraction, mining equipment, heavy machinery, construction and processing, and mining contracts.

Exhibition of refractories and industrial ceramics covering shaped refractories, amorphous refractories, industrial raw materials, insulations, and industrial ceramic fibers, refractory parts and equipment, and the exhibition of industrial furnaces and heat treatment, including industrial cement furnaces, measurement systems, and furnace and burner control cameras (heat controls) are other exhibitions that comprise IRAN METAFO 2022.
