Iran beaten by Japan at 2022 IBSA Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships

TEHRAN – Iran football 5-a-side team lost to Japan 1-0 at the 2022 International Blind Football Federation (IBSA) Blind Football Asia/Oceania Championships on Tuesday.
Iran, who have defeated Australia and Uzbekistan, will play South Korea on Wednesday in Group B.
Group A of consists of India, Thailand, China, Malaysia and Kazakhstan.
The competition takes place in Kochi, India from Nov. 11 to 18.
The event serves as qualifier for the World Championships Birmingham 2023 and Paris Paralympics 2024.
The champions will secure their berth for the Paralympics and the top three teams will qualify for the World Championships.
