Iran come ninth at 2022 Sitting Volleyball World Championship

TEHRAN – Iran came ninth at the 2022 Sitting Volleyball World Championship Thursday night.

Team Iran eased past Hungary in straight sets 25-7, 26-24, 25-11 to register their fourth win in the championships.

Iran also defeated Poland, Finland and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the event, however suffered losses against the U.S., Slovenia, Canada and Ukraine.

On Friday, Brazil will meet Canada in the gold medal match, while the U.S. face Slovenia in the bronze medal match.

The competitions are being held in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo and will run until Nov. 11.
