TEHRAN – Thousands of mourners attended a funeral service for Seyed Rohullah Ajamian in Karaj, a Basij member, who was martyred during the recent riots in Karaj.

The service was also attended by local officials and IRGC members. Ajamian was a longtime member of Basij who was stabbed to death by rioters on Thursday. Rioters implicated in the martyrdom were arrested by security forces before the funeral was held.
