IRGC launches satellite carrier

TEHRAN – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force has successfully launched the Qaem-100 satellite carrier, which is built by Iranian scientists.
Qaem-100 uses a solid-propellant engine and can carry satellites weighing 80 kg into an orbit of 500 kilometers away from the Earth.
Qaem-100 three-stage satellite carrier is going to be employed for the launch of Nahid, a satellite manufactured by the Iranian Ministry of Information and Communications Technology in the near future, according to Tasnim.
