Iran Greco-Roman team champions of U23 Worlds

TEHRAN – Iran Greco-Roman team won the U23 World Championships Wednesday night.

Hassan Rangraz’s team won the team title with 138 points, 37 points more than second-placed Georgia.

Turkey jumped over Azerbaijan to finish third with 93 points.

Iranian wrestlers claimed three gold and three bronze medals in the competition underway in Pontevedra, Spain.

Danial Sohrabi won the gold medal of Iran by winning the 67kg weight class.

Pouya DadmarzIman at 55kg and Mohammadi at 63kg had also won two gold medals.

Aliakbar Yousefi (130kg), Amir Abdi (72kg) and Ali Abedi (97kg) won three bronze medals.
