TEHRAN Scores of development, industrial and servicing projects are to be operational nationwide during Government Week (August 24-30). The week has been called after Martyr Mohammad-Ali Rajaie, ex-president of Iran, and Mohammad-Javad Bahonar, ex-prime minister, who were martyred by the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization (MKO) on August 30, 1981. According to various IRNA dispatches, 122 projects are to be operational in Hamedan, 274 in Gilan, 205 in Ardebil, 350 in rural regions of Ardebil and 298 in Kerman. Meanwhile, Housing and Urban Development Ministry announced on Monday that 3,918 residential units are to be ceded to applicants and ground breaking ceremonies for 8,000 housing units are to be held during government week.

Some 16 hospitals, 17 administrative and commercial complexes and 26 cultural and sports complexes are also to be operational within the week. Some 100 industrial, production, research and development projects are also to be operational at Defense Ministry in the said week. (IRNA)
