TEHRAN – Turkish pop singer Ilyas Yalcintas has said that he plans to record a song dedicated to Tractor Sazi, a popular football team in Tabriz that also has ardent fans in other northwestern Iranian cities.

“I follow Tractor Sazi’s matches and I want to dedicate the song named ‘Bilmece’ (Puzzle) to the passionate fans of the team,” he told Turkey’s Anadolu News Agency on Wednesday. 

He also talked about his interest in learning the Persian language and added that he is eager to perform a joint concert with Iranian singers in Persian.
 
Yalcintas, who is popular in Iran for songs like “Icimdeki Duman”, “Yagmur” and “Gel Be Gökyüzüm” performed concerts on Kish Island last July, which was well-received by Iranian audiences.
