TEHRAN – Persepolis winger Mehdi Torabi is a doubt for the crucial match against Al Sadd of Qatar football team due to a foot injury.

The international player suffered a right foot injury in the match against Nssaji in Iran Professional League on Friday and it is likely to keep him out of this game.

Torabi’s absence will be a big blow for the last season’s runners-up.

Persepolis will travel to Doha on Sunday to face the Qatari giants at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Group D of the AFC Champions League.

Persepolis were held to a 1-1 draw by Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan in their opener, while Al Sadd lost to Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia 2-0 in Jeddah.
