Annual trade between Iran, U.S. rises 155% in 2018

TEHRAN- The value of trade between Iran and the U.S. has risen 155 percent in 2018 compared to its previous year, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday citing the latest statistics released by the American Statistical Association (ASA).
As reported, trade between the two countries stood at $508.4 million in 2018, rising from $199.1 million in 2017.
In 2018, Iran imported $440.5 million worth of commodities form the U.S., an increase of 223 percent from $136 million in 2017.
The country exported $67.9 million of goods to the U.S. in the past year, with a seven-percent rise from $63.1 million in its preceding year.
