TEHRAN- "According to the Sixth Development Plan (2016-2021), domestic industrial and mining sector requires 400 kilometers of railway to be added to domestic network per year," the head of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) told IRNA on Monday.

The industrial sector also needs 1.5 times more of water than its available level and 1.67 times more of electricity than its present amount, Khodadad Gharibpour told the news agency.
