TEHRAN- Representatives from five Caspian Sea littoral states are to attend the 4th meeting of Collaboration on Maritime Safety and Security in the Caspian Sea in Tehran on December 10-11, IRNA reported on Saturday.

According to one of the deputies from Iran Port and Maritime Organization (PMO) Hadi Haqshenas, representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan are to make a trip to Tehran to take part in the event.

“The meeting seeks providing security of Caspian Sea, as the largest lake in the world, as well as preserving its environment,” the official said.
