TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday held talks with a number of senior European diplomats on regional issues, the 2015 nuclear deal, and collective efforts to save the deal and maintain foreign trade with Iran.

In one of his meetings on the sidelines of the Geneva Conference on Afghanistan, Zarif discussed the latest developments in relations between Iran and the European Union with the bloc’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini. 

The talks mostly focused on the nuclear deal, officially known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and regional issues.
